The other day I was reading an
article about Ladakh...going through the pictures mostly and I remembered
what I had felt when I had been there . The first thing that had registered was the sky . The azure blue sky and it's wide, vast expanse. It was so, so attractive... that feeling
of space.
Very recently my teacher in the Bhagwad Gita class , mentioned the Panchamahabhutas. Of these, one is aakaash ie space. And the relationship clicked. Spread your arms.... lie down... look up. It's just the sky and more sky... space.
Such a bloody contrast to my claustrophobic urban existence, where when, I peer from any of my windows, I do not get to catch a grab of the sky. The balcony lets me have a pocket handkerchief sized view.
तैसेची माझे विश्व.........Limited ...... Bound by boundaries.
